This is Who I am.

I love the body positive movement, where we take our eyes off what the scale says and concentrate on caring for our bodies instead of trying to find our worth in them, but I think it needs to go a step farther. Our bodies are only the vessel of who we are and yet we spent so much time focusing on what they look like or how we feel about them. Who you are and what you have to offer the world is infinitely more important than how closely you come to meeting society's unattainable beauty standards. In the end, when our beauty has faded, what we spent our time doing is what will be remembered. The number of women that are remembered for their beauty are few. The women remembered for their bravery, character, skills, and talents are the ones that make history and honestly what would you prefer to be remembered for anyway?? I hope when I am remembered it's because I impacted the world! I love fitness because it's been a catalyst for change in my life. I used to only care how I was viewed and if I was met with the approval of others and through caring for my body have learned that I am worthy on my own and that I have gifts and abilities the worlds needs and so do you! I'm on mission to free women from being slaves to beauty standards and instead looking inward to find their calling. Once you make that switch, caring for your body becomes an act of love instead of a punishment for falling short of the standard. There is beauty in every woman, every race, every weight and every age. It's time to have the courage to find out who we are and then proclaim it to help and inspire others. It's time to aspire to something greater than a beautiful body. If you are ready to experience that kind of change, to have your perspective shifted and learn how to care for your body in a healthy way, we have another group starting this week. We would love to have you! Message me at [email protected] for details.
