This really affected me this morning! I spent so many years focusing on everything I wasn't given. I compared myself to everyone and the target of what I was supposed to be was always moving. I was frustrated and miserable and, compared to this amazing woman, I am embarrassed of my state of mind!
I have been given so much, we all have! Instead of looking around the room to see what everyone else was given, it's time to take inventory of the cards we were dealt and play the hell out them! Helen Keller also said, " When we do the best that we can, we never know what miracle is wrought in our life, or in the life of another." I believe this to be true and I, now, keep it in mind everyday, believing that as I do the best I can, it not only strengthen me but strengthens others and THAT is worth all the work! ❤️ A life full of gratitude has no room for discontentment! So much more has been given to us than has been denied!
